Nettwerk Records is pleased to announce the signing of Shane54 to its growing and diverse roster.
Shane54 was one half of Hungarian DJ/production duo, Myon & Shane 54 (MS54). In June 2016, the duo announced that they were parting ways to pursue solo music endeavors Shane 54 makes his solo debut both as an artist with ‘Paradise’ (feat. Jenny Jordan) and as a DJ with a live set at Exchange LA joining BT and Late Night Alumni this Friday 10/09. Buy tickets here.
Since forming in 2008, MS54 went on to achieve success in the international dance music scene. MS54 have remixed and/or crafted charting singles on the Billboard Top 200, number ones at Billboard Dance and Beatport, and produced and remixed tracks for Lana Del Rey, Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Tove Lo, Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Demi Lovato, Jessie J, BT and NERVO, to name a few. Myon & Shane54 also created one of the most highly regarded radio shows with over 15 million weekly listeners worldwide, now titled International Departures w/ Shane54 (formerly “International Departures”).
“’Paradise’ was co-written with Kyler England, who worked with MS54 on ‘Summer of Love.’ With my solo material, I want to take the best of what we did as MS54 when we started, but give it my uncompromising vision. More than ever, the fans deserve more. What’s most exciting is this single is just the start. I’m incredibly excited to be working with Nettwerk to release my new music. As a songwriter and producer, it’s an amazing feeling to be with a label that has such a long-standing reputation of supporting songwriters of every genre,” says Shane.
The remixers were hand-selected to fill the wide spectrum of tastes within the electronic music community – from the Uplifting Trance style of M.I.K.E. Push (as premiered by Armin Van Buuren on A State of Trance) to the big room EDM sounds of Revealed Recordings artist Maddix, and to the deep underground-inspired remix from Gai Barone. The Rafaël Frost remix transcends genre and will appeal to EDM, Trance and House lovers alike.
Shane54 is the latest addition to Nettwerk’s expanding label roster, which includes artists like Hermitude, The Veils, Passenger, Savoir Adore, Boxed In, Mr Little Jeans, Alyx Ander as well as catalogue artists like Junkie XL, Ladytron, Delerium and Tiësto.
